Arriving with boat
If you arrive to Oslo with Stena Line or DFDS, the ferry will dock on Vippetangen. From Vippetangen you can take bus number 60 to Jernbanetorget (by the Central Station).
From Jernbanetorget you can take tram number 17 (towards Sinsen-Grefsen St.) to Heimdalsgata. Walk back the direction the tram came from, cross the bridge, pass Anker Hotel and you will find Anker Hostel on the right side of the street. You can also take bus number 34 or 54 to Jakob Kirke. When exciting the bus, follow Hausmannsgate back the direction the bus came from until you reach Storgata. Take a left and you will reach Anker Hostel on your left hand side.
If you arrive Oslo with Color Line you will dock on Hjortneskaia. Bus number 1 will take you to Jernbanetorget (by the Central Station).
Taxi is available on both ports upon arrival.
