We inform you that Anker Hostel will close permanently on March 31st 2025, to make way for new student housing at Anker Studentbolig. Therefore, it will not be possible to book rooms after this date.
We recommend our new and modern hostel concept, Bunks at Rode, as an alternative for your stay.

Making food for one or the whole crew? No problem! There is a kitchen in every room and you can borrow utensils in the reception. The grocerie store is just around the corner. But wait, does that mean I can explore my inner chef and stay on a budget? Yes, we thought you would prefer it that way.

We have been housing groups and group-series for years. We have suitable rooms for every demand and will make sure that your group has a perfect stay during their visit to Oslo. Send us an e-mail and receive an extra special offer. We`re pretty sure we`re the perfect fit.

Linen and towels
One set of bedlinen/towels are included in the price. Additional sets can be rented in the reception for NOK 70.
Laundry
The nearest laundry is “Clean kokos” in Markveien 28 – just 10 minutes walk from the hostel!
Socialization
Check out “Whats up” for updates on whats going on at our Hostel. You can also ask for a weekly event-calendar in the reception.
Parking
We got you covered! Indoor parking is available from NOK 340,- per 24hours. Check out FAQ for more info!
Luggage room
Yes, we got it. We have lockers as well. Reach out to reception for more info or check out FAQ.
Reception hours
Our front desk is open 24/7 in the high season. Between 3rd of October 2022 and 1st of March 2023 the opening hours are from 07.00-23.00. The check in starts from 15.00 and the check out is until 11.00.
Cleaning
Weekly cleaning is included in the room rate, however additional cleaning can be arranged at an additional cost.
Kitchen and kitchenware
Yey, all rooms have a private kitchen! You can borrow kitchenware for a deposit of 200 NOK/20 Euro.
