Arriving with plane
From Gardemoen Airport you can take The Airport Express train or local train VY to Oslo Central Station. This takes approximately 20-25 minutes. If you want to take public transportation from the train station you have to walk to Jernbanetorget (by the Central Station). Take tram number 11 or 12 (direction Kjelsås), and tram 17 or 18 (direction Grefsen). Exit the tram at Nybrua, and you will see Anker Hostel and Anker Hotel on the left side of the street.
You can also take a taxi from Oslo Central Station to the hostel. The walking distance is 5 – 10 minutes.
If you arrive from Torp Airport you can take a direct bus to Oslo Bus Terminal. You will find information about this bus here: https://www.torpekspressen.no/en/. You will find a taxi rank by the Bus Terminal. If you prefer public transport you can walk to Oslo Central Station and take tram number 11, 12, 17 and 18 from here. Walking distance from the Bus Terminal is 5 – 10 minutes.
